And I thought I loved the clouds passing through the Columbia Basin! The fast moving coastal clouds hanging around the Olympic Mountains across Puget Sound were a challenge to capture, but an enjoyable one. The shadows in the Seattle area were interesting, they are a much deeper, cooler blue than I'm used to painting.
