A little break from my virtual ramble through Yellowstone, this one is a REAL plein air! I love the willow and cottonwood filled marshes that surround the Yakima River Delta, where this was painted.

  1. Ooo! I love this one! So simple and serene; absolutely beautiful! Plein airs are almost always my favorite. They usually have a raw life to them that's so real. Great!

    1. Thanks, Ginny! I'm the same way, plein air and sketches usually appeal to me more than polished works. There always seems to be more heart in them!

    1. Thanks, Carolyn! That's the one good thing to come out of the cold winter weather we've had - the beautiful atmosphere.
